Sage 200 – Integrated Business Management Software

How does Sage 200 benefit your organisation?

No matter how much or how little of the software you choose to adopt, your people will work more efficiently within their own departments and with colleagues across the business. For example, your marketing people can track prospects, recording communications and monitor conversion rates whilst analysing key sales trends. You can easily segment and target your customers and prospects with appropriate campaigns.

Because the traditionally separate accounts and CRM functions are brought together, you can if you wish, give your sales people access to customer credit position, order quotes and purchases, along with contact and communication history.

Your Sales Manager can keep track of their team’s forecasts, pipeline and performance. Sales reports are produced with ease to show a real time snapshot of opportunities, leads, conversion rates and more. With the Sage 200 Suite, you build the software solution to meet your business needs. Additional software can be added in all areas of your operations, helping your people work more efficiently in their own departments and across your business.

The Sage 200 Suite from e1 Business is a flexible, scalable software suite enabling you to effectively manage your business processes.

Why the Sage 200 Suite?

Listed on the FTSE 100 with a turnover of £1 billion, it is little wonder that the Sage 200 brand inspires so much confidence. With the ability to put a huge amount of investment into research and development, Sage 200 is synonymous with cutting edge technology. Sage 200 is used by 65% of UK companies and now advises the HMRC on the impact of planned changes – resulting in easier systems compliance as rules change.

Benefits of integrated Business Process Management

Those who are familiar with the benefits of Business Process Management know that it stimulates higher productivity and therefore more profits, more revenue from better customer service, and more cash from faster invoicing. Vastly improved reports result from integrated data and not silos. Finally, one can clearly monitor budget versus actual spend in real time and instantly check the profitability on a given job.

Why e1 Business?

Our clients have come to rely on us because of our thorough understanding of project-oriented business processes. You can choose add on modules for project and resource planning, adding value to standard solutions. Our clients also benefit from the e1 User Group.

e1 Business is focussed on two key market areas for the Sage 200 Suite:

  1. Firms that wish to integrate Sales Order Processes and/or Accounting information into their CRM system.
  2. Firms that manage projects and need to understand the profitability and WIP for each project.

The suite is modular and starts with a core module covering Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, CRM, Nominal Ledger and Cashbook. Firms can then extend this with Sales Order Processing, Stock, Purchase Order Processing, Pricing and Project Accounting. If you opt for Project Accounting there is a further option for Web Time and Expenses to allow staff working on projects to book directly onto projects using low cost licenses. Further specialist options are available for Manufacturing and Retail organisations.

The suite has evolved from Sage’s proven MMS and Sage 200 CRM systems so has a strong pedigree with thousands of users giving prospective clients confidence that the system is proven and reliable.

Giving your people access to the system

The core platform comes with a single concurrent user for the accounting and CRM functionality. You can then add additional concurrent users to either accounting, CRM or both parts of the system according to your staff requirements in each area.

Sage 200 Highlights

The Sage 200 is a single integrated system and central repository for all information. It saves time and improves billing accuracy because data is not rekeyed between numerous systems. Crucially, knowledge of clients does not end with the salesman – helping to ensure that sales are maximized.

Sage 200 Financials and Commercials

Sage 200 is integrated with Financials and Commercials and allows you to analyse return from each Project rather than each order or customer. Mix staff time, subcontractors, bought-in items and services for cost and revenue of Project.

e1 Project PRIMA

e1 Project PRIMA offers graphical planning of projects and resources, as well as resource calendars, additional project enquiries and project reports.

Sage 200 Web based Time and Expense recording

This service enables staff to fill in and file timesheets from anywhere in the world, and this part of the software does not require a full license (access only to T & E data). Timesheet completion can be enforced and additional notes can be added to help qualify invoices. Managers can quickly and easily approve T & E data.
