Return On Investment for CRM Webinar
Building the ROI case incorporating specially commissioned research

E1 Business is delivering a free webinar entitled "ROI for CRM”, on 18th February 2010 at 3.30pm.

At e1 Business we know that there is usually a compelling return on investment for a CRM project but it has traditionally been difficult to articulate the case. The ROI for CRM webinar will build the ROI case incorporating specially commissioned research.

This webinar will focus on a CRM ROI model from Nucleus Research that has been specifically adapted for the Sage based CRM solutions that e1 Business offer to clients. Nucleus Research Inc is The Leading Provider of Investigative Technology Research

Sage commissioned Nucleus to independently investigate the actual ROI achieved for a number of customers and this seminar will share the results

The webinar will be presented by Geof Gibbons who has had the benefit of 20yrs experience working with CRM. Once the seminar is finished there will be a Q&A session in which you will have the opportunity to direct any questions to the host.

All attendees will also be entitled to a free ROI consultation using the Nucleus tool featured in the webinar. This will help your firm to decide whether deployment of a CRM solution will prove a sensible investment

CRM Aids Weight Loss
Healthy Living Wessex selects e1 Business’s CRM solution to improve service to clients
.

Healthy Living Wessex (HLW), a not-for-profit social enterprise working with the Dorset Primary Care Trust, can now track clients’ progress in weight loss and lifestyle change through the successful implementation of Sage CRM.

HLW have moved a step closer to improving the health and well-being of people across Dorset by using Sage CRM, which e1 Business provides, to improve the efficiency of their operations and service to their clients in their role as a referral hub for Lifestyle Change Management.

Individuals are typically referred to HLW by their GPs, and since adopting the CRM system HLW have been able to efficiently store all contact data for GP practices, all information on referred patients, as well as tracking the relationship between them. Quick access to patient data has proven vital in providing an effective and personal service, helping to improve service adoption and reduce drop-out rates.

As the platform on which all staff work, Sage CRM plays a fundamental role in the business, providing a central system for all contact data. This enables HLW to record and manage contact data in addition to analysing performance against lifestyle change and weight loss goals.

These powerful analytics tools have also made it easier to provide relevant feedback to the Primary Care Trust on the performance of the initiative. This improved efficiency helps to reduce costs, while improving service to clients at the same time.

Jan Stevenson, Healthy Living Wessex Operations Manager commented: “The system is used to track clients’ progress in losing weight as information is fed back from weight loss groups. The system provides a comprehensive record of all contacts with a client whether by phone, email or letter. Some clients have questionnaires to measure their well-being prior to commencement of a programme and also at the end of the programme.”

Furthermore it seems that the CRM solution, that e1 Business provides, will continue to help in supporting the health and well-being of Dorset, albeit indirectly, by providing the base for even further projects.

“We are awaiting the confirmation of two more contracts with the Primary Care Trust which are based around the use of the CRM package, and the management reporting that Sage CRM allows us to provide to the Primary Care Trust is a key factor in the award of these contracts.”

‘Leads are too valuable to waste’
For sales & marketing professionals - a free lead management webinar by e1 Business

A free webinar concentrating on lead management and aimed at sales and marketing professionals will run on Thursday 3rd December at www.e1business.com

Focusing on common reasons why businesses lose leads and exploring ideas on how the lead management process can be made more efficient, e1 Business’s free webinar entitled ‘Lead Management – Leads are too valuable to waste’ will help businesses work through today’s tough climate.

Leads are always precious and it hasn’t helped that over the past year most businesses may have experienced a dip in the amount of leads they have dealt with. But at 15.30 GMT on Thursday 3rd December, e1 Business could lend a hand with their advice on how a combination of systems and human processes can optimise the handling and tracking of leads.

As is the case with supply and demand, the scarcity of this resource has significantly increased their value. Any business you manage to win is great, but now the impact of losing the lead and not getting the sale is much worse than it used to be, as there are fewer leads to fill the gap.

By registering for this educational webinar, hosted by e1 Business, it will open your eyes to the main problems you face when managing leads and propose ways of making the lead management process more efficient and profitable.

To register for the webinar ‘Lead Management – Leads are too valuable to waste’ please email esther.procee@e1business.com with your name and company name.

SAGE PARTNERS WITH LINKEDIN
Digital campaign marks another industry first for Sage

Sage (UK) Limited, the leading business software and services provider with more than 780,000 customers in the UK, has partnered with LinkedIn, the world's largest professional network to launch a multi-faceted digital campaign supporting Sage's national Business Brains campaign. The campaign, which includes profile targeted advertising and sponsorship of the Startups & Small Business Answers section of LinkedIn, aims to identify, explore and celebrate the qualities that make people in business more likely to succeed.

Joanna Elliott, Head of Brand at Sage (UK) Limited said, This campaign goes far beyond traditional display advertising, by unlocking the potential of the LinkedIn network we can engage directly with our key audiences in a much more targeted, relevant and engaging way.

The advertising and sponsorship activity on LinkedIn will drive traffic directly to an interactive site developed by Sage www.trainyourbusinessbrain.com. The site is designed to provide inspiration, mental stimulation and advice to UK professionals and including video interviews with leading "Business Brains" Simon Woodroffe, Founder of Yo! Sushi, Rebekah Fensome, a leading business psychologist and James Averdieck , Founder of Gü Puddings; five different mental agility tests to reveal your business IQ and news and features from previous episodes of The Krypton factor.

In addition, members of LinkedIn who take the tests will have exclusive access to a LinkedIn scoreboard and league table. The Business Brains will also be posting questions for LinkedIn members to discuss as well as displaying insight from nation-wide research on how you can be successful in business.

This is another industry first by Sage since the launch of the Business Brains campaign. In October, Sage announced a sponsorship agreement with ITV1 to fund the production of The Krypton Factor in the biggest advertising funded programme agreement on ITV in prime time to date. The Business Brains campaign is a fully integrated campaign targeting staff, customers and new audiences through multiple media platforms, including TV sponsorship of the Krypton Factor, the business brains online portal, social media, regional consumer roadshows, YouGov research, press trips, media relations and sampling.

With this integrated approach, Sage demonstrates how brands can effectively tap in to social media to engage with a targeted audience," said Henry Clifford-Jones, Director of Media Sales for LinkedIn Europe. "Plus, the campaign offers our members the chance to gain extra knowledge as well as instilling a bit of healthy competition amongst our business network.

Leading strategic media agency PHD brokered the deal with Sage and LinkedIn. Digital agency Chunk developed the creative for both the www.trainyourbusinessbrain.com site and the display ads on LinkedIn. Ben Kerr, Content Director at Drum PHD Limited said, By working closely with LinkedIn we have been able to create a true partnership that integrates the rich content available on Sage's TrainYourBusinessBrain website with LinkedIns expansive professional network. The deal is enhanced by tailoring applications and creative work from the TrainYourBusinessBrain website exclusively for LinkedIn's Business community. Working in this way allows us to exploit the full potential of our online content by allowing users to power its distribution.

BUSINESS BRAINS: 47% OF BRITS SHUN SALARY, JOB TITLE AND STATUS AS INDICATORS OF SUCCESS
In a challenging time for UK business, Sage’s State of the Nation research and business brains campaign raises the question of just how Brits will judge their success in business in 2009.

Newcastle, UK, February 2009: Sage (UK) Limited, the business software and services provider, has released its State of the Nation survey results, which showed that almost half (47%) of surveyed respondents do not consider salary, job title or status as indicators of their success in the workplace.

The survey was carried out as part of Sage’s national Business Brains campaign, which aims to identify, explore and celebrate the qualities that make people in business more likely to succeed.

The survey reveals that the quality most people want to improve to make them more successful in business is their mental agility. According to the results, almost one fifth (18%) of respondents stated that improving their mental agility would make them more successful. Only 14 per cent stated that this is currently their strongest quality.

Conducted by You Gov, the research indicated that 2008 was the year of ‘Static Britain’, with 64% people not taking up a new hobby in the last year. In contrast, 2009 promises to be the year of achievement, with more than three quarters (77%) of Brits identifying qualities they want to proactively improve to make them more successful in business.

“What we’re trying to achieve by launching the Business Brains campaign is to identify what people judge as success in business and provide them with the support to build the skills they need to reach their own personal success,” explained Paul Stobart, Managing Director, Sage UK and Ireland.

“In addition to the findings from our nationwide survey, the people we’ve met through our partnership with the Krypton Factor on ITV1 and the thousands of people who’ve joined our www.trainyourbusinessbrain.com website, we’ve unveiled some surprising insights and had a glimpse of the actual attributes and mechanisms that enable success in business. Effective and inspirational leadership, foresight, confidence and having the awareness, acumen and capability to identify opportunities and respond quickly to take advantage of them are the sorts of traits that separate the great from the good in business.”

The research also showed that Sir Richard Branson was perceived as the UK’s most successful business person with 57% of the votes followed by Sir Alan Sugar (10%).

As part of the Business Brains campaign, Sage UK has launched www.trainyourbusinessbrain.com which hosts brain training games, video blogs featuring inspirational businesspeople and tips where people can learn more about the campaign and participate in challenges that will help develop their business qualities further.

NEW CRM RELEASE FURTHER ENHANCES USER EXPERIENCE

With the launch of the latest release of e1 Metis CRM from e1 Business, the user experience is at the forefront of CRM development. Using Web 2.0 and the RIA (Rich Internet Application) model, the latest version is both intuitive and forward-thinking.

“The web user interface has been completely rewritten to modernise and substantially enrich the user experience, largely through the use of sophisticated Web 2.0 technology. This means that it has a modern look and feel and is actually ahead of most web applications in terms of functionality, whilst keeping the best bits from previous versions” comments Geof Gibbons, Managing Director at e1 Business.

Simultaneously the Microsoft Outlook integration has been reworked to run on the server side and allows fee earners to operate from their familiar contact views in Outlook while maintaining full database integrity.

Other key enhancements include improved integration with other applications using web services and time line visualisation, which brings to life flurries of activity with clients.

e1 recently demonstrated the latest version of their Sage backed product to their professional services customers at their annual User Conference at the end of October and were thrilled at the reaction received. “They were blown away” comments Geof “It’s now a case of ‘when can we upgrade?’”.

CRM – A REAL RECESSION FIGHTER
New CRM releases further enhance functionality

Winchester, November – With the launch of Sage’s latest releases of its mid-market CRM offerings, leading Sage Business Partner, e1 Business offers a more complete solution to put businesses in a recession-fighting position.

There is no doubt that in the current market climate businesses that put their customers first and deliver first rate customer service are going to fare better than those who don’t up their game. A recent survey conducted by Harris Interactive found that 81% of those surveyed will stop doing business with a company because of a negative customer experience.

CRM (Customer Relationship Management) solutions from e1 Business can significantly improve your customer insight whilst providing you with the tools to better service your customers and even grow your organisation through up-selling, cross-selling and new customer wins. Another key factor in success is streamlining your business processes to ensure that your organisation is working as efficiently as possible. This is something else that CRM solutions excel at.

An example of some of the key improvements in the latest releases of Sage SalesLogix (v7.5) and Sage CRM (v6.20) is the improved web customer service functionality and convenient customer self-service options. Timeline visualisations and improved Relationship Manager further facilitate your Account Management. Enhanced lead management functionality empowers your sales staff to win new customers. Easy to use interfaces increase employee adaption and productivity. Both solutions have powerful process automation capabilities and utilise Web 2.0 technologies meaning that you are ideally placed now and in the future.
